Aims & Purposes

As a nondenominational, nonsectarian educational entity, HOREB Institute is committed to advancing research into the Bible and related ancient literature, texts, inscriptions, and archaeological discoveries. It integrates disciplines such as archaeology, linguistics, history, and manuscript studies to clarify theological questions, incorporate academic insights, foster interdisciplinary and interfaith dialogue, reevaluate historical narratives, and enhance public understanding of these texts' cultural and historical contexts. All activities are conducted for religious, educational, charitable, and research purposes that benefit the public while respecting diverse religious traditions.

Educational Outreach

HOREB Institute disseminates its research through various channels, including publications like articles, books, and scholarly works in academic journals and Institute-owned outlets; digital media such as podcasts, interviews, and educational videos on platforms like YouTube; and public engagement via lectures, workshops, seminars, and online resources (e.g., websites and social media). The Institute also organizes educational expeditions to biblical and ancient sites, such as Holy Land tours, to provide hands-on learning experiences and promote global scholarly dialogue.
